This tutorial deals with magnetic moment - a quantity that appears when a charged object is inserted into a magnetic field. This quantity is different from the torque discussed earlier while explaining what happens when a current carrying coil is inserted into a magnetic field, as torque requires two forces acting in the opposite sides of the coil, while magnetic moment involves only one force.
